OPM Higher Secondary School is a co-educational English medium school affiliated with the MP State board. It provides education from primary to higher secondary levels.
OPM Higher Secondary School, Amlai is situated in the northeastern part of Madhya Pradesh, near the border with Chhattisgarh. It is approximately 25 kilometers away from the district headquarters, Shahdol.
Amlai is known for its industrial significance. It houses several major industries, including the Satpura Thermal Power Station, which is one of the largest thermal power plants in Madhya Pradesh. The town also has paper mills, cement factories, and other industrial units.
